The AirTAC GFR20008LJC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR20008LJC1WT is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in a single body, so one unit removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds a set downstream pressure. This 200-size configuration is threaded 1/4 in NPT, carries the fine 5 um filter element (code W), drains condensate by differential pressure, and is the low-pressure regulator type. A round pressure gauge scaled in MPa is fitted, and no mounting bracket is supplied.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, in PT (standard), G and NPT threads, with a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, standard or low-pressure regulation, and square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds the low-pressure clamping circuit of a machining fixture, cleaning the compressed air of water and chips-scale particulate while holding a steady, gentle clamp pressure set on the fitted MPa gauge.
Conditions the air feeding a paint-spray station, where the 5 um element helps keep moisture and fine particles out of the air line ahead of the spray equipment and the regulator holds the low operating pressure the booth circuit needs.
Sits on the air drop feeding low-pressure actuators on a packaging conveyor, filtering the shop air and keeping the actuator pressure stable so cylinders index the product consistently.
Start with the port step: this unit is 1/4 in NPT in the 200 size; larger sizes (300/400/600) move up through 3/8 in to 1 in as your air demand grows. The 5 um element here suits air that feeds sensitive downstream equipment; the standard grade is 40 um if coarser pre-filtration is acceptable. Drain choice matters: differential-pressure (as fitted here) drains automatically when the pressure differential rises, automatic drains continuously, and manual drains only when you operate it. Gauges come embedded square or external round, scaled in MPa, psi or bar; this unit has a round MPa gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as orderable options, and a bracket is optional (not fitted here). Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or l/min number. Tell us your application and operating pressure and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
The standard GFR filtration grade is 40 um; the W code on this model fits the finer 5 um element, which suits lines feeding more sensitive downstream equipment. The drain on this unit is differential-pressure, and automatic or manual drains are available as alternative order codes if you prefer a different drainage behaviour.
