The AirTAC GFR20008MLC2WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR20008MLC2WT is an AirTAC GFR200 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is built for a 1/4 in NPT port, carries a 5 um filter element (code W) for finer filtration than the standard 40 um grade, and uses a manual drain, so the bowl is emptied by hand as part of routine maintenance. It is the low-pressure type for applications regulated below the standard range, and an external round gauge with a psi scale is fitted so operators can read and adjust setpoints directly. The polycarbonate bowl is protected by an included mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drain, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge style and scale, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds conditioned, regulated air to the valve and actuator manifold of a packaging line, with the 5 um element protecting directional valves and the psi gauge letting technicians set the circuit pressure at the panel.
Serves bench-top test rigs and analytical instruments that need clean, finely filtered air held at a low regulated pressure, with the low-pressure type regulator and manual drain suiting supervised, regularly serviced equipment.
Regulates supply to conveyor stop-gates, diverters and small air cylinders on sorting lines, where the 1/4 in port, bracket-mounted body and round psi gauge make set-and-check adjustment straightforward at the line.
Start with the port step: this unit is the size 200 body with a 1/4 in NPT thread, the smallest GFR frame, so match it to lines where 1/4 in piping suits the air demand. Filtration is set at 5 um here; if your application only needs general water and particle removal, the 40 um standard grade is the alternative. Drain is manual, which suits installations where someone checks the unit regularly; automatic and differential-pressure drain options exist if you prefer hands-off moisture removal. The round psi gauge is fitted; square embedded gauges and MPa or bar scales are the other catalogue choices. Thread can be ordered as PT (standard) or G instead of this NPT version, and the bracket is included.
Because AirTAC publishes flow only as curves and not as a single rated figure, we do not quote a flow number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number, Cv or SCFM value. Tell us your application and air demand, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: moisture collected in the polycarbonate bowl is released by hand during routine checks. If you cannot service the unit regularly, the same GFR200 body can be ordered with an automatic drain (code A) or the default differential-pressure drain instead.
