The AirTAC GFR20008MLF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR20008MLF3T is an AirTAC GFR200 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in one body. It removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates the downstream pressure, with a 1/4 in NPT port, a polycarbonate bowl with manual drain, a 40 um filter element and the low-pressure regulator type. A square pressure gauge scaled in bar is fitted and a mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and with a choice of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale and PT, G or NPT thread. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated low-pressure air to the clamp cylinders on a CNC fixture line, where the 40 um element keeps swarf-carrying moisture out of the clamping valves and the bar gauge lets the setter read set pressure directly.
Conditioning the air to manual spray guns in a finishing booth, where the low-pressure regulator type and manual drain let an operator set and check atomising pressure at the gun station and drain accumulated water each shift.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to the small gripper and pusher cylinders along a carton packaging conveyor, with the included bracket mounting the unit at the machine's air-drop point and the square gauge visible for line checks.
Work through the decodable choices in order. First pick the size (200/300/400/600) and port (1/8 to 1 in) against the air your line needs - the larger the size, the larger the port and flow capacity; this unit is size 200 with a 1/4 in NPT port. This is the low-pressure regulator type, so confirm the downstream pressure you need before ordering - the exact regulation range for the low-pressure type is not published and we will confirm it on request. Drain options are differential-pressure (default), automatic or manual; this unit has the manual drain, so plan a routine bowl-drain check into maintenance. Filtration is 40 um standard, with 5 um (code W) available where finer filtration is needed. Gauge scales are MPa, psi or bar; this unit carries a square gauge in bar. Thread here is NPT - PT is the standard and G is an order option. A mounting bracket is included. Because flow is published as curves, not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Send us your line pressure and the air consumption of the equipment you are feeding, and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code GFR20008MLF3T means the polycarbonate bowl has a manual drain, so an operator drains accumulated condensate as part of routine checks. The same GFR family is also available with an automatic drain (code A) or the differential-pressure drain (the default, blank code) - just tell us which you want when ordering.
