The AirTAC GFR20008MLJC3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200 series combines water and particulate filtration with pressure regulation in a single filter-regulator body. This unit is the 200 size with NPT1/4 (1/4 in) ports, a manual drain, the 40 um standard filter element, the low-pressure regulator type, a round pressure gauge with bar scale, and a reverse/check valve (code K); it is supplied without a mounting bracket. The polycarbonate bowl lets you see collected condensate, and the manual drain lets you empty it by hand as part of routine checks. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series filter-regulator family spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) elements, gauge and thread options, and standard or low-pressure regulator types. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet details for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feed spray booths and coating pumps that run on reduced air pressure: the low-pressure regulator type trims the supply pressure while the 40 um element keeps water and grit out of the finish, and the bar gauge gives a direct readout.
Protect bench-top rigs and pilot equipment that need gentle, regulated air; the manual drain suits intermittent, supervised operation where an operator drains the bowl between runs.
Supply small pneumatic cylinders and directional valves on packaging and labelling machines, with the fitted check valve blocking reverse flow and the polycarbonate bowl showing condensate build-up at a glance.
Choose the size step (200/300/400/600) and port to match the air demand of your line - larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow. Pick the drain type: manual (this unit) for periodic hand draining, automatic for unattended duty, or the differential-pressure default. Select the 40 um standard element or the 5 um (W) fine grade, the gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), and the thread: PT is the standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is ordered with NPT. Bracket and no-bracket (J) variants exist. Note that this unit carries the low-pressure regulator type (L), whose exact setting span is not published in the standard table - ask us to confirm it. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes filter-regulator capacity as flow curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure, port size and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the GFR200 datasheet on request.
This model is ordered with a manual drain (code M): you empty collected condensate from the polycarbonate bowl by hand as part of routine checks. The G-series family also offers automatic (A) and differential-pressure (default) drains if your compressor runs unattended.
