The AirTAC GFR20008MLJNWTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200 series combines filtration and pressure regulation in a single body: compressed air is first stripped of water and particulate, then passed through the regulating valve. This configuration is the 200 size with a 1/4 in NPT port, fitted with a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two published grades), a manual drain on the PC bowl, and the low-pressure regulator type. A reverse/check valve is built in, no pressure gauge is fitted, and no mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and is ordered with your choice of drain type, filter grade, gauge and thread form (PT is the standard; G and NPT are order options). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds a pneumatic clamp fixture that must hold at a reduced, stable pressure below the main shop line, with the 5 um element protecting the clamp valve from fine particulate.
Conditions the air feeding small cylinders and actuators on a carton-sealing or wrapping line, where the manual drain lets an operator bleed collected water at each shift check.
Supplies filtered, low-pressure regulated air to a laboratory or QA test bench, with the built-in check valve holding the set circuit if the upstream supply is interrupted.
Start with the port step: the 200 size carries a 1/4 in port here, and the larger 300/400/600 sizes move up through 3/8 in, 1/2 in, 3/4 in and 1 in as your air demand grows. Drain type is a real choice: manual drain means someone bleeds the bowl on a routine, while automatic and differential-pressure drains discharge condensate without attention - this unit is the manual-drain version. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with the W code; this unit carries the 5 um element for finer particulate removal. Gauge (embedded square or external round, with MPa, psi or bar scale), bracket, and thread form (PT standard, G or NPT to order) are all selectable. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number that could mislead your sizing. Send us your application details and we will confirm the relevant flow data from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M code in the model specifies a manual drain on the bowl: collected condensate is released by hand when an operator opens the drain, rather than discharging automatically as with the A (automatic) or differential-pressure drain options. It suits installations with regular operator attention; if you need unattended drainage, ask us about the automatic or differential-pressure drain versions of the same series.
