The AirTAC GFR200C08MLC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/4 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR200C08MLC2G is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This size 200 configuration is built with a G1/4 (BSPP) port, a manual drain for releasing bowl condensate, a 40 um filter element, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. It is the low-pressure regulator type, a mounting bracket is included, and no reverse/check valve is fitted.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, drain choices (manual, automatic or differential-pressure), an optional 5 um element, gauge and scale choices, and G or NPT thread options. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On machining cells where workpieces are held by air clamps, a filter regulator at the drop cleans water and pipe scale out of the supply and holds the clamp circuit at the reduced pressure the fixture was designed for. The low-pressure regulator type and psi-reading gauge make this unit a direct fit at the fixture drop.
Sorting gates, stoppers and pushers on packaging and distribution lines run off a shared header. A filter regulator mounted at the station inlet keeps condensate and particles out of the gate cylinders and control valves while holding a steady, lower supply pressure to the station.
Bench-top testers, sample handlers and pneumatic actuators on lab apparatus need clean, dry air at a gentle, stable pressure. This unit filters the shop supply down to 40 um at the point of use and regulates it in the low-pressure range, with the round psi gauge giving a clear local reading.
Size and port set the flow capacity: this unit is size 200 with a 1/4 in port, and you can step up to 300, 400 or 600 as your air demand grows. The manual drain means the bowl is vented by hand at intervals - choose the automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain code instead if you want unattended draining. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify W for the 5 um grade. The round gauge here reads psi, with MPa and bar scales available and the embedded square gauge as the standard alternative. Thread is G (BSPP) on this model - PT is the catalogue standard, with G and NPT as order options. Because flow is published as curves, not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as characteristic curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your working pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet for this exact configuration before you order.
The M in the code is the manual drain: condensate collected in the bowl is released by hand, which suits points that are checked as part of a routine. The same unit can be ordered with an automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain if you prefer unattended draining - the rest of the specification stays the same.
