The AirTAC GFR200C08MNWT AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT 1/4 in, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR200C08MNWT is an AirTAC GFR200 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is built for 1/4 in NPT ports, carries the fine 5 um filter element (code W), and uses a manual drain, so the bowl is emptied by opening its drain valve during checks. The regulator is the standard type with a 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) setting range, and no gauge is fitted (code N) - add a gauge separately if you want a visible setpoint. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, thread choices of PT (standard), G and NPT, drain types, 40 um or 5 um elements, gauge options and bracket choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to the tool-change and clamping circuits of a machining centre, where the 5 um element keeps fine valves and cylinders free of particulate and water carryover.
Setting a stable clamping pressure on a pneumatic workholding press, with the regulator holding the setpoint and the manual drain emptied during scheduled shift checks.
Conditioning the air feeding pick-and-place and sealing cylinders on a packaging conveyor, combining filtration and pressure setting in a single 1/4 in NPT drop.
Start with the port and size step: GFR200 is the smallest GFR size with a 1/4 in port; if your line needs more flow, step up to GFR300 (3/8 in), GFR400 (1/2 in) or GFR600 (3/4 in to 1 in). Choose the drain to match how the unit is serviced: manual drain (this model) is emptied by hand, automatic drain handles condensate on its own, and the differential-pressure default suits lines where a pressure signal can trigger draining. Pick the element grade: 40 um is standard for general plant air, 5 um (code W, as fitted here) protects finer components. Decide whether you want a gauge and which scale (MPa, psi or bar), and confirm the thread: PT is the standard, with G and NPT as order options - this unit is ordered with NPT. A bracket is included; specify J if you do not want one.
Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so before ordering send us your line conditions and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure and the flow your application needs, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request.
The M in the code means the bowl is drained by opening its manual drain valve rather than automatically. With a manual-drain filter regulator the regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and you open the drain during routine checks to expel collected condensate. If you want condensate handled without intervention, order the automatic-drain (A) or differential-pressure (blank) version instead.
