The AirTAC GFR300-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 1/4 Round Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300-08 is an AirTAC filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is sized for 1/4 in NPT ports, filters to 40 um, and drains condensate by differential pressure, so the bowl empties as inlet pressure falls. The standard regulator adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), a round gauge scaled in bar is fitted, and a reverse/check valve holds downstream pressure when the supply dips. No mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part in the GFR300 series. The GFR line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted at the air drop feeding a small pneumatic press, the unit filters shop air to 40 um and holds the set working pressure so forming strokes stay consistent.
On a packaging line's carton-sealing station, it cleans and regulates the air driving cylinders and grippers, with the check valve holding pressure during supply dips.
Feeding air tools and torque drivers in an assembly cell, it delivers filtered, regulated air at the pressure the tools are set to, read directly on the bar gauge.
Step up or down through sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 to match the port and flow your line needs; this unit sits at 1/4 in NPT. Choose the drain that suits the duty - differential-pressure (this unit), automatic for hands-off condensate removal, or manual where you want controlled draining. Filtration is 40 um standard; specify 5 um (code W) where downstream equipment demands finer air. Gauges can be ordered with MPa, psi or bar scales, PT is the standard thread with G and NPT as order options, and brackets are optional. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for this 1/4 in NPT size on request.
The K in the code fits a reverse/check valve, which holds downstream pressure if the supply drops, and C3 specifies the round gauge scaled in bar. Square embedded gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales are also available across the GFR range.
