The AirTAC GFR300-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-08 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single 300-size body. This configuration has a 1/4 in NPT port, a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, standard 40 um filtration, a standard regulator with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), no gauge fitted, no reverse/check valve, and a mounting bracket included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, gauge options and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a bench-mounted pneumatic press or clamping fixture: the GFR300-08 cleans water and swarf out of the shop air line and holds a steady, manually set working pressure to the cylinder valve circuit.
On a packaging or bottling line, this unit conditions the 1/4 in branch feeding conveyor stopper and gate cylinders, with the manual drain emptied during scheduled line cleaning.
Installed at the drop from a plant air main to a CNC machine or assembly cell, it filters particulate from the supply and regulates the pressure delivered to the machine's pneumatic panel.
Size and port are the first choice: 200, 300, 400 and 600 step up in port and flow capacity, so match the size to the air demand of the circuit - here the 300 size gives a 1/4 in NPT port. Drain type matters in service: manual drain (this unit) needs someone to open the bowl drain periodically, while automatic and differential-pressure drains discharge condensate without attention. Filtration is 40 um standard; specify the W option for 5 um where finer protection is needed. Units with a regulator can take an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales - this one is ordered without a gauge (code N). Thread is NPT here; PT is the catalogue standard and G (BSPP) is also available. A bracket is included (J would delete it).
Flow for the GFR series is published as curves, not a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow figure. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not state a rated flow number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the datasheet and check the sizing against your air demand before you order.
This unit (code M) has a manual drain: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl must be drained by opening the drain periodically. The GFR300 is also available with automatic drain (A) or the differential-pressure drain default, and with 5 um filtration (W) if you need finer than the standard 40 um grade.
