The AirTAC GFR300-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/4 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-08 is a filter regulator in the 300 size: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a PT1/4 (1/4 in) port with standard PT thread, a 40 um filter element, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, and a round gauge reading in psi. It is a low-pressure type, and the maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) with an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of automatic, manual or differential-pressure drain, a 5 um element option (code W), gauge scale choices, and G or NPT thread variants to order. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Cleaning water and particles from the shop-air drop and holding a steady low regulated pressure to the machine's pneumatic valves and actuators, with automatic drain keeping the bowl clear between shifts.
Conditioning the air feeding conveyor stopper and clamp cylinders on a packaging line, where the low-pressure type regulator sets a gentle working pressure and the 40 um element protects the directional valves.
A compact filter-regulator station at a work cell's air take-off, combining water and particulate removal with pressure setting in one body, the psi round gauge giving operators a direct local reading.
Size 300 with a PT1/4 port is the right step when your line runs at 1/4 in piping and moderate air demand - step up to size 400 or 600, or down to 200, to match the pipe and the flow curve. The automatic drain on this unit suits unattended or hard-to-reach installations; choose manual drain where you prefer controlled, scheduled blowdown, or differential-pressure drain as the default. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify the 5 um option (code W) if finer particle removal is needed. The round psi gauge is fitted on this unit, and embedded square gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales are also available. PT is the standard thread; G (BSPP) and NPT are order options. A mounting bracket is included.
Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the datasheet and check the sizing against your required flow before you order.
The A in the code means an automatic drain: collected condensate is expelled from the bowl without manual attention, which suits unattended installations. Manual and differential-pressure drain versions are also available in the GFR series if you prefer scheduled or default drainage behaviour.
