The AirTAC GFR300-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/4 Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-08 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body, so one 1/4 in PT component does the job of a filter and a regulator. This configuration has a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, a 40 um standard filter element, a standard regulator with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR300 series. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, optional 5 um elements (code W), automatic or differential-pressure drains, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G or NPT threads as order options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to the cylinder circuit of a small punch press or stamping station, with the psi gauge letting operators verify set pressure at the cell.
Conditioning the air feeding grippers and sealing jaws on a cartoning or wrapping line, where the manual drain is opened during scheduled changeover and cleaning.
A point-of-use filter regulator at an assembly bench, giving each operator a locally set, moisture- and particle-filtered supply for air tools and small actuators.
Size 300 with a 1/4 in PT port suits lines where air is distributed at 1/4 in; step up to size 400 or 600, or down to size 200, if your piping and required flow differ - we confirm sizing from the published flow curves on request. Drain choice matters: this unit has a manual drain, which you open by hand during checks; choose the automatic drain option if the unit sits where manual draining is impractical, or the differential-pressure drain as the default. The 40 um element is standard; specify the 5 um (W) element where finer particulate removal is needed. The round gauge here reads in psi; square embedded gauges and MPa or bar scales are also available. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and a bracket is included for panel or surface mounting.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
This unit has a manual drain: the bowl is drained by hand, which suits stations visited during routine checks. If the unit is mounted where manual draining is impractical, order the automatic drain option; the differential-pressure drain is the catalogue default. The same choice applies to the filter bowl on all GFR sizes.
