The AirTAC GFR300-08AF1T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-08AF1T is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is threaded 1/4 in NPT, carries the standard 40 um filter element, and has an automatic drain that expels collected condensate from the PC bowl without manual attention. The fitted embedded square gauge reads outlet pressure in MPa, the standard regulator covers 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR series, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in and optional G or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. Automatic, manual and differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and a low-pressure regulator type are available across the range. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a bench-mounted pneumatic press where clean, dry air and a steady regulated pressure are needed for consistent riveting and staking operations.
Conditioning the air supply to a spray gun station, where water and particles in the line ruin finishes and the regulator sets the gun supply pressure.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to the cylinders that clamp, divert and eject product on a packaging conveyor, with the automatic drain suiting continuous shifts.
Size the unit by the port and flow step: 200 for the smallest lines, 300 here at 1/4 in, then 400 and 600 as flow demand grows. Choose the drain to match the installation: automatic (this model) for unattended duty, manual where an operator drains on a schedule, or the default differential-pressure drain. Filter grade is 40 um as standard or 5 um with code W; gauge scale is selectable as MPa, psi or bar; thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options; a bracket is included unless code J is specified.
Flow for this series is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so we cannot quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet curves before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so no single number can be quoted here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the relevant flow figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
The A in the code GFR300-08AF1T specifies an automatic drain, which expels collected condensate from the bowl without operator attention. The alternatives are the default differential-pressure drain and a manual drain (code M); the regulator adjustment range differs by drain type, with the automatic and differential-pressure versions covering 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
