The AirTAC GFR300-08L AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-08LJC3TK is a low-pressure filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This 300-size unit is fitted with 1/4 in NPT ports, a 40 um standard filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate as flow passes through, a round pressure gauge reading in bar, and a built-in reverse/check valve that holds downstream pressure when the supply is lost. The low-pressure (L) type is intended for circuits that run at reduced working pressure. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl keeps the condensate level visible at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, PT (standard), G or NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, standard or low-pressure regulation, gauge choices and scale options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so contact us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a machining-cell fixture line where clamps must close at a reduced, stable pressure, this filter regulator cleans the supply air, holds the set pressure with the check valve during supply dips, and shows the setting on the bar gauge.
Feeding guide cylinders and reject pushers on a packaging conveyor, the 40 um element stops scale and pipe debris reaching the valves while the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate out of the air path.
On a textile plant drop line running at low working pressure, the low-pressure regulator type gives finer control in the lower range, and the round bar gauge lets operators verify the set point at a glance.
Start with the port and size step: this unit is 300 size with 1/4 in NPT ports; step up to 400 or 600 if your circuit needs more flow capacity, or down to 200 for compact points of use. The 40 um element suits general plant air; specify the W code for 5 um where downstream valves or instruments need finer filtration. The differential-pressure drain is the zero-effort default; choose automatic (A) for unattended drains or manual (M) where you want scheduled draining. The round bar gauge is fitted here; embedded square gauges and MPa/psi scales are alternatives. The K code adds a reverse/check valve, and the L code selects low-pressure regulation. Bracket: this configuration is supplied without one (J), and a bracket can be selected where panel stability is needed. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM figure. Tell us your line pressure and the air demand of your equipment and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
L marks the low-pressure regulator type, intended for circuits that run at reduced working pressure. This unit has no drain letter, so it carries the differential-pressure drain: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is bled off automatically by the pressure differential during normal flow, with no manual draining needed.
