The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/8 in NPT, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration carries a 3/8 in NPT port, a 40 um standard filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds accumulated condensate automatically as flow passes through, and a polycarbonate bowl. The regulator adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the embedded square gauge reads in MPa. A reverse (check) valve is fitted, and the mounting bracket is included. Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports and threads (PT standard, G and NPT to order), manual or automatic drain options, a 5 um element (code W), gauge scale in MPa, psi or bar, and a low-pressure regulator type. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds clean, regulated air to the tool-clamp and chip-blow circuits of a CNC machining centre, with the 40 um element catching pipe scale and the square gauge letting setters verify set pressure at a glance.
Supplies filtered, pressure-controlled air to the cylinders and vacuum generators on a carton-sealing conveyor, where the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate off the valve seats during continuous shifts.
Conditions the compressed-air drop serving a lab's pneumatic actuators and air-powered stirrers, with the check valve holding downstream pressure if the upstream supply dips.
Start with the port step: the GFR300 sits in the middle of the 200/300/400/600 range, and the 3/8 in NPT port here should be matched to the pipe and the flow your line actually needs - we can confirm sizing against the published curves before you order. Next choose the drain: this unit uses the differential-pressure drain (default), but automatic (A) and manual (M) versions exist if your duty cycle or access needs differ. The filter grade is 40 um standard; specify code W for the 5 um element where finer protection is required. The square gauge on this unit reads in MPa; psi and bar scales are available, and an external round gauge is optional. Thread is NPT here, with PT as the standard and G as an order option. A bracket is included on this configuration; J versions omit it.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so there is no one figure we can quote honestly. Tell us your line pressure and the air demand of your equipment, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
This GFR300-10 uses the differential-pressure drain (the default): condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is bled off automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is high enough, with no operator action. If your application has low, intermittent flow or you prefer controlled draining, the same size is available with an automatic (A) or manual (M) drain - just ask for that code variant.
