The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/8 in NPT, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a size-300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration has a 3/8 in NPT port, 5 um filtration (the finer W grade), a differential-pressure drain, a standard regulator with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) setting range, and a round pressure gauge scaled in bar. No mounting bracket is included. Max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl lets you see condensate at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR line is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports and threads (PT standard; G and NPT to order), drain types (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), filter grades (40 um standard, 5 um optional), gauge styles and scales, and low-pressure or standard regulators. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds clean, regulated air to the tool-change clamping circuits on a CNC machining centre, where the 5 um grade protects the solenoid valves that index the tool carousel.
Sits ahead of the double-acting cylinders that press and seal bags on a food packaging line, holding a steady setting so seal pressure does not drift as demand varies along the line.
Conditions the air feeding spray guns in a finishing booth: the 5 um element takes out water and fine particles that would otherwise blemish the coating, while the regulator sets gun pressure.
Start with the port step: size 300 with a 3/8 in NPT port suits lines that need more flow than 1/4 in size-200 units, but check your required flow against the published curves before ordering - we will confirm sizing on request. Choose the drain: differential-pressure (this unit) drains automatically as flow varies; automatic suits steady duty; manual suits low-moisture air where someone checks the bowl. This unit carries the 5 um W grade instead of the 40 um standard - pick 5 um for downstream valves, cylinders and instruments that need finer air. The round gauge here is scaled in bar; square embedded gauges and MPa or psi scales are alternatives. PT is the standard thread; G (BSPP) and NPT are order options, and this unit is ordered in NPT. No mounting bracket is included with this code - order a bracket separately if you want panel fixing.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Send us your line pressure and the flow your application needs and we will confirm against the datasheet curves that this size and port suit before you order.
The W in the code GFR30010JC3WT selects the optional 5 um element instead of the 40 um standard, for finer protection of downstream valves, cylinders and instruments. Drainage is by the differential-pressure method: condensate is discharged automatically as flow varies, with no manual draining needed under normal operation.
