The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator 3/8 NPT, 5 um, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300-10 is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is the 300 size with a 3/8 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two catalogue grades), an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual bleeding, and a polycarbonate bowl. It regulates from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi), operates from -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and carries an embedded square gauge with a bar scale. The K code means a reverse/check valve is fitted, and the mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, drain types (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), 40 um or 5 um filter grades, gauge scales (MPa, psi or bar), PT, G or NPT threads, and optional low-pressure or check-valve variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, pressure-regulated air to the clamping and tool-change cylinders on a machining cell, where the 5 um element guards the directional valves and the check valve holds the set circuit against upstream dips.
Supplying regulated air to diverters, pushers and sealing jaws on a packaging conveyor, with the automatic drain handling condensate on a line that runs unattended across shifts.
Conditioning the plant-air drop at a bench assembly station so impact drivers, air cylinders and small actuators each receive filtered air at a stable, operator-set pressure read on the bar gauge.
Step through the decodable choices: pick the size and port against the air demand of the circuit - the 300 size with its 3/8 in NPT port sits mid-range between the compact 200 and the higher-flow 400/600. Choose the drain: automatic (this unit) suits unmanned or hard-to-reach stations, manual suits attended checks, and the default differential-pressure drain works where a steady pressure drop is available. Choose the filter grade: 40 um is the standard element, 5 um (code W, fitted here) protects finer valves and instruments. Select the gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar - this unit is bar) and the thread: PT is the standard, with G and NPT as order options. A bracket is included; J variants omit it.
One honest note before ordering: AirTAC publishes flow as curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number here. Ask us to confirm the flow curve and datasheet against your application before you commit to a size.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not state a flow figure here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow curve and full datasheet figures for the GFR300-10 on request, so you can size it correctly.
The A code fits an automatic drain, which expels collected condensate from the polycarbonate bowl without anyone having to bleed it by hand. That makes it the right choice for unmanned cells, elevated or enclosed mounting points, and lines that must run across shifts; manual and differential-pressure drain versions remain available in the same size if you prefer them.
