The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator, G3/8, 5 um, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This 300-size unit is fitted with a G3/8 (BSPP) port, a fine 5 um filter element (code W, versus the standard 40 um), an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, an external round gauge reading in psi, and a reverse/check valve that holds downstream pressure when the supply is lost. The polycarbonate bowl suits this size, the maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator covers 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, and is available with manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds clean, regulated air to the tool-change clamps and pneumatic actuators on a machining centre, with the 5 um element protecting fine control valves and the check valve holding clamp pressure if the shop supply drops.
Conditions the air feeding conveyor diverters, bag sealers and carton-closing cylinders on a packaging line, keeping moisture out of the valve bank and holding the regulator at the pressure the seal cylinders were set up for.
Supplies filtered, regulated air to bench-mounted test rigs and sample-handling cylinders in a lab, where the 5 um grade and automatic drain keep sensitive instruments protected without daily bowl attention.
Choose the size by the port and flow step: 200, 300, 400 or 600, with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch - this 300-size unit carries G3/8. Pick the drain to match maintenance access: automatic (as fitted here) drains itself, manual needs operator attention, and the differential-pressure default drains on a pressure drop. Select 40 um for general protection or 5 um (this unit) where finer filtration matters downstream. Gauge scale is selectable in MPa, psi or bar; this unit carries a round psi gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options - this unit is G (BSPP). Brackets are optional on the family and included here. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow curve and sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
This GFR300-10 carries code A, the automatic drain, which expels collected condensate by itself and suits installations that are not checked daily. The family also offers manual drain (code M) and the differential-pressure default, which drains on a pressure drop. The regulation range differs by drain type: automatic and differential-pressure units cover 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), while manual-drain units cover 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
