The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8 Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single 300-size body. This configuration carries a G3/8 (3/8 in) G-thread port, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, a 40 um standard filter element, and a fitted embedded square gauge scaled in psi. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). The polycarbonate bowl suits non-freezing environments from -5 to 70 C.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, an optional 5 um (W) filter element, gauge scale choices, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air feeding tool-changer actuators and clamping cylinders on a machining centre, with the automatic drain keeping condensate out of the circuit during unattended shifts.
Conditioning the air supply to conveyor stopper cylinders and carton-forming actuators on a packaging line, where the 40 um element protects valve seals and the psi gauge lets operators set line pressure at a glance.
Mounted at a drop leg on a factory air ring main, delivering filtered and regulated air to a work cell, with the automatic drain handling accumulated moisture without daily operator attention.
Start with the size and port: the 300 frame with a 3/8 in G-thread port sits mid-range in the GFR lineup, and the correct step depends on the flow your line needs - we can check the published flow curves against your demand before you order. The automatic drain on this unit suits unattended duty; choose manual drain if you prefer controlled blowdown, or differential-pressure drain for the default behaviour. The 40 um element is standard; specify the 5 um (W) grade where finer particulate removal matters. The fitted square gauge reads in psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. G (BSPP) thread is the ordered option here, with PT as the standard and NPT also available; a mounting bracket can be added if required. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
This configuration is coded A for an automatic drain, which expels collected condensate from the bowl without operator attention. The GFR300 series is also available with a manual drain (code M) or the differential-pressure drain as the default - just ask for the alternative code when ordering.
