The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT 3/8, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a size-300 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in one compact body. This configuration has 3/8 in NPT ports, an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, standard 40 um filtration, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, and no mounting bracket. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl suits the size-300 frame; only size-600 units use an aluminium alloy bowl.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, and can be ordered with manual or differential-pressure drains, 5 um filtration (code W), different gauge styles and scales, G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard, and a mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds clean, pressure-set air to tool clamps and pneumatic actuators on a machining centre, with the automatic drain handling condensate between shifts without an operator visit.
Sits at the drop of a packaging conveyor's air header, filtering water and debris out of the supply and holding a stable setting for the cylinders that drive carton forming and sealing.
Installed at the point of use on a factory assembly bench, conditioning the branch line and regulating pressure for air tools and small clamping fixtures fed from 3/8 in drop piping.
Start with the port and size: this unit steps up to 3/8 in NPT on the size-300 frame, so match it to your line size and the flow your circuit needs. Choose the drain to suit access: automatic (this unit, code A) suits unattended duty, manual suits periodic checks, and differential-pressure is the catalogue default. Filtration is 40 um standard; specify 5 um (code W) if downstream valves or instruments need finer air. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries a round gauge reading psi. Threads are PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; brackets are optional (this unit has none).
One honest note before you order: AirTAC publishes flow as curves, not a single rated number, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you commit.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your line size and demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
Code A fits the automatic drain, which discharges collected condensate from the bowl without manual attention - useful where the unit is mounted in a hard-to-reach spot. The GFR300 is also available with a manual drain (code M) or the differential-pressure drain, which is the catalogue default.
