The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT 3/8 in, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a filter regulator: water and particulate removal plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This size 300 unit is configured with a 3/8 in NPT port, a 5 um filtration element for finer air cleaning than the standard 40 um grade, and a manual drain for emptying the polycarbonate bowl. The low-pressure regulator type suits circuits that run below standard line pressures, and no gauge is fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR series, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge options and G, NPT or PT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated air to pneumatic clamps on an assembly fixture that runs at reduced line pressure, with the 5 um element protecting the clamp seals from particulate and the manual drain letting maintenance empty the bowl during scheduled checks.
Supplies cleaned, regulated air to gauges and test instruments on a laboratory or QC bench, where the 5 um grade keeps fine debris out of sensitive components and the low-pressure regulator type matches the reduced supply the instruments require.
Conditions the pilot-air supply to pneumatic valve positioners on a process line, filtering water and particles ahead of the positioner and holding the reduced pilot pressure the actuator was set up for.
Size up or down through the GFR range (200 / 300 / 400 / 600) and step the port (1/8 in to 1 in) to match the air demand of the circuit. Choose the drain: manual (this unit, emptied by hand), automatic, or the default differential-pressure type. Choose the filter grade: 40 um standard or 5 um (code W, as fitted here) for finer protection. Gauge options include an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales; this unit is supplied without a gauge. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT (as fitted here) as order options; a mounting bracket is included unless code J is specified.
Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and sizing figures from the datasheet on request.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: the polycarbonate bowl is emptied by hand, which suits installations checked as part of a maintenance routine. The GFR series is also available with an automatic drain or the default differential-pressure drain if you prefer not to drain manually.
