The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 3/8 in, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is fitted with NPT 3/8 in ports, a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two available grades), a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically as flow passes through, and an embedded square gauge reading in psi. The polycarbonate bowl lets you see the condensate level at a glance, and the standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR range is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, a choice of 40 um or 5 um filtration, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, and MPa, psi or bar gauge scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air feeding the tool-change cylinders and clamping fixtures on a machining centre, with 5 um filtration protecting fine spool valves and the psi gauge giving the setter a direct reading at the machine.
A drop from the plant ring main to the pneumatic cylinders and diverters on a carton packing conveyor, where the filter regulator is set once to the line pressure the machine builder specifies and the differential drain keeps condensate off the valves.
Point-of-use conditioning ahead of spray guns and air-assisted applicators in a finishing booth, where 5 um filtration and a stable regulated pressure help the operator hold a consistent finish through a shift.
Start with the size and port: the 300 size with 3/8 in NPT ports suits lines whose pipework and air demand sit at that step; larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow. Choose the drain to match duty - the differential-pressure drain on this unit needs no operator attention, while automatic and manual drains are available on other configurations. This unit carries the 5 um element; the 40 um standard grade is the choice where only coarse protection is needed. The square gauge here reads psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. Thread is NPT on this configuration, with PT standard and G available to order; a mounting bracket can be specified where the unit is not carried by the pipework. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your operating pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for this 300-size, 3/8 in unit against your application before you order.
With no drain code the GFR300-10 uses a differential-pressure drain: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is discharged automatically when the pressure differential across the element rises with flow, so no manual draining is needed under normal duty. If your air demand is very low or intermittent, a manual or automatic drain configuration may suit better - we can help you choose.
