The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT 3/8 in, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a size-300 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is threaded NPT 3/8 in, carries the fine 5 um filter element (code W), drains condensate automatically through the differential-pressure drain, and is a standard-type regulator with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). No gauge is fitted (code N) and no mounting bracket is included (code J). The polycarbonate bowl lets you see the condensate level at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, 40 um standard or 5 um fine filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and gauge options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed on the shop-air drop feeding a CNC machining centre's pneumatic tool-changer and clamping circuit, where the 5 um element protects fine pilot valves and the regulator holds a steady setting for consistent clamp force.
Mounted ahead of the cylinder bank on a carton-packaging conveyor line, cleaning the compressed air and holding the regulated pressure that the diverter and sealing cylinders act on shift after shift.
Used on a branch of a factory instrument-air header supplying positioners and air-operated control valves, where the 5 um grade keeps particulates and water out of small orifices and the regulator sets the branch pressure.
Size 300 with a 3/8 in port suits lines whose air demand sits in the middle of the GFR range; step up to size 400 or 600, or down to size 200, as your flow curve requires. The 5 um element (W) is the right choice when downstream valves, cylinders or instruments need finer protection than the 40 um standard element provides; note that finer filtration raises the pressure differential across the unit. This unit uses the differential-pressure drain, which bleeds condensate automatically as flow passes through, so no daily manual draining is needed. Thread here is NPT; PT is the catalogue standard and G (BSPP) is also an order option, so match your piping system. A gauge is not fitted with the N code, but gauge options exist if you want a visual pressure reference.
Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your actual air consumption before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM figure. Tell us your working pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the datasheet flow curve for the GFR300-10 on request before you order.
The N in GFR300-10JNWT means no gauge is fitted, and the J means no mounting bracket is included; the unit itself is unchanged otherwise. If you want a visual pressure reference, the GFR series is offered with gauge options, so ask us about a gauge-equipped variant or a separate gauge when ordering.
