The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a size-300 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 3/8 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (the fine grade; 40 um is the standard option), an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, and a round pressure gauge with an MPa scale. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the polycarbonate bowl suits ambient temperatures from -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, and can be ordered with manual or differential-pressure drains, a 40 um or 5 um element, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, a low-pressure regulator type, a reverse/check valve, and G (BSPP), NPT or PT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds clean, pressure-set air to the tool-change clamps and pneumatic actuators on a machining centre, with the 5 um element protecting tight-tolerance valves from particulate carryover.
Prepares the air feeding conveyor diverters, bag sealers and carton-closing cylinders on a packaging line, holding a steady set pressure so cylinder stroke timing stays repeatable through the shift.
Conditions the air serving filler-head lift cylinders and capper actuation on a bottling line, with automatic drain handling condensate from humid compressor intake without operator rounds.
Size and port drive the choice: the GFR300 with its 3/8 in port sits in the middle of the 200/300/400/600 range, and the right size depends on the air demand of the circuit it feeds. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. Other real choices for this family: drain type (automatic as fitted here, or manual, or differential-pressure as the default), filter grade (40 um standard or 5 um fine as fitted here), gauge style and scale (embedded square or external round; MPa, psi or bar), thread (PT is the standard, with G and NPT as order options), and bracket (included here; code J removes it). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the standard regulator adjusts 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with automatic drain.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
We do not quote a single rated flow figure because AirTAC publishes GFR300 performance as flow curves, not one number. Send us your application's air demand and downstream pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The W code on this model specifies the optional 5 um filter grade; 40 um is the standard element. Choose 5 um where downstream pneumatic valves, cylinders or instruments are sensitive to finer particulate, and 40 um where general plant air with coarser protection is sufficient. Both grades are orderable across the GFR range.
