The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT3/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds a stable downstream pressure in one body. This configuration has 3/8 in NPT ports, a 5 um filter element (finer than the standard 40 um), a differential-pressure drain that bleeds condensate automatically as flow passes through, a round external gauge reading in MPa, and a reverse/check valve fitted. It also ships without a mounting bracket, so plan to mount it on the connected pipework or your own bracketry. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator adjustment range for this drain type is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl suits the 300 size; only the 600 size uses an aluminium alloy bowl.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, thread options PT (standard), G and NPT, drain types (differential-pressure, automatic, manual), 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge choices and scales, and an optional low-pressure regulator type. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning for the air feeding a machining centre's tool-change cylinders and clamping fixtures: the 5 um element keeps fine particulate out of the valves while the regulator holds a steady set pressure for consistent clamping.
Clean, regulated air for the pick-and-place cylinders and sealing jaws on a carton or bag packaging line, where the check valve helps the downstream circuit hold its setting if upstream supply dips.
Conditioning the instrument-air feed to pneumatic quarter-turn actuators on a process skid, with the MPa round gauge giving operators a direct local reading of the regulated set point.
Size and port: the 300 body with 3/8 in NPT ports suits medium-flow circuits; step up to size 400 or 600 if your demand sits near the top of the 300 flow curve, or down to 200 for compact lines. Filtration: the 5 um element in this unit is the right choice where downstream valves and cylinders see fine particulate; the standard 40 um element is fine for general shop-air prep. Drain: the differential-pressure drain here needs no manual attention during normal flow, but if the unit will sit at low or intermittent flow, consider the automatic (A) or manual (M) drain versions instead. Gauge: this unit carries the round external gauge with an MPa scale; psi and bar scales are orderable alternatives. The reverse/check valve (K) is fitted, and no mounting bracket is included (J).
Because AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves and not as a single rated number, we do not quote a flow figure here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the datasheet curves and sizing against your required flow before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not state a number here. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the datasheet curve for the GFR300 at 3/8 in on request so you can size it correctly before ordering.
The standard element filters to 40 um, which suits general shop-air preparation. This unit is built with the optional 5 um element, which captures finer particulate for sensitive downstream components such as precision valves, cylinders and air tools. If your line only needs coarse protection, the 40 um version of the same regulator is available as a separate model.
