The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is built for low-pressure duty, with a 5 um filter element, an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, a reverse/check valve fitted, an embedded square gauge scaled in bar, and no mounting bracket. The port is NPT3/8 (3/8 in).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, plus a choice of drain type, filter grade and gauge scale. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the figures against your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a bench clamping fixture where pneumatic clamps must hold at a reduced set pressure to avoid distorting the workpiece, this unit filters the shop air to 5 um and regulates it in one compact 3/8 in body, with the automatic drain keeping condensate out of the circuit.
Packaging lines running diverter and pusher cylinders benefit from clean, moisture-managed air at a stable low set pressure. This GFR300-10 feeds the line from a 3/8 in drop, its auto drain handles condensate overnight, and the bar-scale gauge lets operators verify the setting at a glance.
Bench-top coating, drying and pneumatic test rigs often need a low regulated supply with fine filtration to protect sensitive nozzles and instruments. The 5 um element and low-pressure regulator in this unit serve that role, and the reverse/check valve helps hold the downstream setting.
Size and port set the air capacity: the 300 size with its 3/8 in NPT port suits lines above the smallest 200-size circuits, but sizing should be checked against required flow rather than assumed. The 5 um element (code W) is the finer option over the 40 um standard, so choose it where downstream valves and cylinders need cleaner air. The automatic drain suits unattended or hard-to-reach installations; manual and differential-pressure drains are the alternatives in this family. The square gauge here reads in bar, with MPa and psi scales available, and an external round gauge is optional. PT is the standard thread; G and NPT are catalogue options ordered by code. Brackets are optional on this family, and this unit is ordered without one.
Flow for this series is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the correct size from the datasheet on request before you order.
Both are decoded from the model code: the A position selects the automatic drain, which ejects collected condensate without manual attention, and the W position selects the 5 um filter element instead of the 40 um standard. A manual or differential-pressure drain and the 40 um grade are available in the same family if your application prefers them.
