The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure. This 300-size unit has a 3/8 in NPT port, a polycarbonate bowl with a manual drain, a 40 um filter element, an embedded square gauge scaled in bar, a reverse/check valve fitted, and the low-pressure regulator type. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C in a non-freezing system. No mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is made in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, filter grade, gauge and scale, thread and bracket. Flow for these units is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filters water and pipe scale out of shop air and holds a low, steady regulated pressure to the spray gun, so the finish is not spoiled by moisture or pressure drift between parts.
Sits upstream of the clamp cylinders on a CNC fixture, cleaning the air and regulating the low clamping pressure the fixture was set up for, with the check valve holding the setting against supply dips.
Feeds filtered, regulated air to the pusher and fold cylinders on a packaging line, with the manual drain bowl emptied at shift checks to keep condensate out of the valves downstream.
The real choices on this family are the size and port step (200/300/400/600, 1/8 to 1 in) matched to the air demand; drain type - differential-pressure (default), automatic or manual, with this unit manual; filter grade - 40 um standard or 5 um with code W; gauge scale - MPa, psi or bar; thread - PT is the standard with G and NPT as order options; and bracket or no bracket. This GFR300-10 is the low-pressure regulator type with a square bar gauge and a check valve fitted; its exact adjustment range is not published in the material we hold, so we confirm it on request. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so please ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and required air demand and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for you before you order.
The M in the code means the polycarbonate bowl is drained by hand rather than automatically. It suits installations where someone is at the machine regularly and wants simple, low-maintenance operation; if the unit sits unattended, ask us about the automatic or differential-pressure drain versions of the same GFR300 size.
