The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is built on the 300 size with a 3/8 in NPT port, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without operator attention, a 40 um standard filter element, and the low-pressure regulator type (code L). A round pressure gauge scaled in MPa is fitted, and a reverse (check) valve is installed. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 in up to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT to order, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, and gauge, bracket and reverse-valve options. On the 300 size the bowl is polycarbonate; only the 600 size uses aluminium alloy. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a bagger or tray-sealer, the sealing cylinders need air that is both dry and held at a lower set pressure so the heated jaws close consistently without over-stroking. This unit filters the shop supply, regulates it down for the sealing circuit, and its automatic drain keeps condensate out of the bowl through long production runs.
Gripper actuators and air-driven end effectors on a robot cell need a clean, regulated supply to repeat the same grip cycle after cycle. Feeding the cell branch through this filter regulator removes water and particulate before the valves, and the fitted gauge lets the technician read and verify the set pressure at the cell.
Bench rigs that exercise pneumatic components or run instrument air need particulate- and water-free air at a stable, often reduced pressure. This unit conditions the bench supply, the low-pressure regulator type suits reduced set pressures, and the check valve helps hold the bench circuit if the building supply is interrupted.
Size and port set the capacity: the 300 size with a 3/8 in NPT port sits mid-range in the GFR family, which steps from 1/8 in on the 200 size up to 1 in on the 600. Drain type shapes day-to-day service: this unit has an automatic drain, which suits unattended installations, while the family also offers manual and differential-pressure drains. Filtration here is the 40 um standard element; choose the 5 um (W) grade where downstream equipment needs finer air. The fitted round gauge reads in MPa; an embedded square gauge and psi or bar scales are alternatives. Thread is NPT on this unit; PT is the standard and G is also an order option. Note the low-pressure regulator type: its adjustment range is not published in our sheet, so confirm it against your set pressure with us before ordering. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send your flow requirement and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm from the datasheet whether this 300-size unit with its 3/8 in port is correctly sized before you order.
This unit carries the A code: an automatic drain that expels condensate from the polycarbonate bowl without operator attention, which suits unattended lines and enclosed cells. The GFR300 family is also available with a manual drain (M) or the differential-pressure drain (blank) if your maintenance routine prefers scheduled draining.
