The AirTAC GFR300-10 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT3/8 5 um Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a size-300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is built for low-pressure circuits, with a 5 um filtration element (the finer of the two catalogue grades), an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without operator attention, a round external gauge reading in psi, and a built-in reverse (check) valve. The port is PT3/8 (3/8 in, PT thread). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The polycarbonate bowl keeps the collected condensate visible at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filtration, standard or low-pressure regulation, gauge and scale options, PT, G or NPT thread, and bracket options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds clean, low-pressure regulated air to lab analysers and sampling systems, where the 5 um element protects sensitive pneumatic components and the automatic drain keeps moisture out of the signal air without daily attention.
Supplies filtered and regulated air to heat-seal and forming stations on a packaging line, with the check valve holding the downstream circuit if supply pressure dips and the psi gauge giving operators a direct reading.
Sits in the drop line to paint spray or coating equipment, filtering the air to 5 um and holding the low working pressure the gun needs, with automatic condensate draining so finish quality is not spoiled by water in the air.
Size and port set the capacity envelope: the 300 size with a 3/8 in PT port suits mid-range supply lines, and the step up or down in size (200/300/400/600) is how you match the unit to the flow your line needs. This unit is the low-pressure (L) type, so choose it where the working pressure sits below the standard regulator's range; the exact adjustment range for the low-pressure type is not published in our sheet, so confirm it with us before ordering. The 5 um (W) element suits air that feeds finer components; the 40 um standard element is the default for general supply. The automatic drain handles condensate unattended, while manual and differential-pressure drains are the alternatives. The round psi gauge (scale 2) is fitted here; embedded square gauges and MPa or bar scales are the other options. PT is the standard thread; G (BSPP) and NPT are order options. No mounting bracket is included with this code (J).
Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow figure. Send us your application details and we will confirm the datasheet and sizing against your requirement before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the figures from the datasheet and check the sizing against your line before you order.
The L in the code marks the low-pressure regulator type, intended for circuits working below the standard type's range; the exact adjustment range for this type is not published in our sheet, so confirm it with us. The A marks the automatic drain, which ejects collected condensate on its own instead of relying on manual draining or a differential-pressure trigger.
