The AirTAC GFR300-10 NPT3/8 AirTAC Filter Regulator, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in a single body. This configuration is sized for 3/8 in NPT ports, carries the 5 um element (finer than the standard 40 um grade), drains condensate by differential pressure, and has a built-in reverse/check valve so downstream pressure is retained if the supply drops. No gauge is fitted and no mounting bracket is supplied.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR300 series, one of four sizes (200/300/400/600) with ports from 1/8 to 1 in and PT, G or NPT threads available across the range. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the setting range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding sealing jaws, bag clamps and vacuum generators on a wrapper or cartoner, where clean, moisture-reduced air at a steady set pressure keeps seal quality consistent through the shift.
Supplying pneumatic workholding clamps and tool-change cylinders on a machining centre, with the 5 um element protecting fine control valves and the check valve holding clamp pressure if the main supply dips.
Regulating air to divert gates, stoppers and pushers on a sorting conveyor, where a stable downstream setting keeps actuator timing repeatable from one package to the next.
Size the unit by the port and air demand of your line: 300 is the mid-range body, here with 3/8 in NPT ports. Choose the filter grade deliberately - 40 um is standard and this unit carries the 5 um W grade for finer protection of valves and cylinders. Drain type is differential-pressure as supplied; automatic and manual drains are alternatives in the range. A gauge with MPa, psi or bar scale is an option - none is fitted on this code - and the reverse/check valve is included. Thread is NPT here; PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is orderable. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so let us confirm sizing against your application before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
W is the filter grade: a 5 um element instead of the standard 40 um, giving finer protection for downstream valves and cylinders. K means a reverse/check valve is fitted, so downstream pressure is retained if the upstream supply is lost. This unit also has no gauge fitted (code N) and no mounting bracket (code J); both are available as options in the range.
