GFR300-10JC2WG AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8

The AirTAC GFR300-10JC2WG AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR300-10JC2WG AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8

The GFR300-10JC2WG is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is sized for a G3/8 (BSPP) port, carries the finer 5 um filter element, drains condensate by differential pressure, and is fitted with a round pressure gauge reading in psi. Downstream pressure is adjustable from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with this drain type, the polycarbonate bowl suits the 300 size, and no mounting bracket is included.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and offers manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and standard or low-pressure regulators. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

10Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2".
(blank)Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
JSupplied without bracket.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
CGauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square.
2Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
WFiltering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
GG (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR300-10JC2WG AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8 Is Used

valve

Pneumatic press clamping

Feeds filtered, regulated air to the clamping cylinders on a stamping or forming press, holding a stable clamping pressure while the 5 um element keeps scale and pipe debris out of the valve stack.

precision_manufacturing

CNC machining centre air prep

Point-of-use preparation for a CNC machine tool's air supply: the regulator holds the set pressure for tool-change and clamping circuits while water and fine particulate are dropped out before the machine's solenoid valves.

factory

Packaging line actuation

Sits ahead of the cylinder and valve bank on a carton-sealing or filling line, giving each station a set working pressure and cleaner air so seal and pick-and-place motions stay consistent through the shift.

Is the GFR300-10JC2WG AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8 the Right Unit?

Choose the size by port and required flow: this unit is a 300 with a G3/8 port, and larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow. The 5 um element (code W) suits work that needs finer particulate removal; the 40 um element is the catalogue standard for general plant air. Drain choices are differential-pressure (fitted here), automatic, or manual. The gauge on this unit reads in psi; MPa and bar scales are alternatives. The thread is G (BSPP) - PT is the AirTAC standard and NPT can be ordered as a specification option. A mounting bracket is optional and this unit is supplied without one.

Flow for the GFR300 is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT3/8" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR300-10JC2WG AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8 FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and the full datasheet figures on request.

The W in the code specifies the finer 5 um element; the 40 um element is the catalogue standard. Both grades are available across the GFR family, and the 5 um grade suits applications that need finer particulate removal ahead of the regulator.
