GFR300-10T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT3/8, Manual Drain

The AirTAC GFR300-10T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT3/8, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR300-10T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT3/8, Manual Drain

The AirTAC GFR300-10T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration has 3/8 in NPT ports, a polycarbonate bowl with manual drain, a 40 um standard filter element, a standard (non low-pressure) regulator adjustable from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7 to 130 psi), and a round pressure gauge reading in bar. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.

This is a genuine AirTAC part in the GFR300 series. G-series filter regulators come in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, plus options including 5 um filtration (code W), automatic or differential-pressure drains, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, and a mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing data from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Model Code: GFR300-10T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT3/8, Manual Drain

GFR300G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range.
10Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2".
MDrain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
JSupplied without bracket.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
CGauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square.
3Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
TNPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR300-10T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT3/8, Manual Drain Is Used

factory

CNC machining cell air supply

Clean, regulated air for the machine tool's directional valves, chucks and air-powered clamps, with the 40 um element catching pipe scale and condensed water ahead of the valve stack.

conveyor_belt

Carton-packing line actuators

Steady set pressure for pick-and-place cylinders and flap diverters on a packaging conveyor, with the round bar gauge letting line staff verify the setting at a glance.

build

Spray booth gun supply

Filtered and pressure-regulated air to paint spray guns in a finishing booth, where the manual-drain bowl is emptied during routine booth cleaning.

Is the GFR300-10T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT3/8, Manual Drain the Right Unit?

Step up or down through the size codes (200/300/400/600) to match your port and flow need - the 300 size carries 3/8 in ports in this NPT version, with PT as the standard thread and G (BSPP) or NPT as order options. Drain choice matters: this unit has a manual drain, so the bowl is emptied by hand on a routine basis; automatic or differential-pressure drain codes are available if you want unattended operation. Filtration is the 40 um standard element, with a 5 um element (code W) for finer protection. The gauge here is the round type reading in bar; square embedded gauges and MPa or psi scales are alternatives. A mounting bracket can be added on request (this code omits it).

Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, we do not quote a rated flow number. Ask us to confirm sizing against your application from the AirTAC datasheet before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT3/8" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR300-10T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT3/8, Manual Drain FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the relevant flow data from the GFR300 datasheet on request before you order.

The M code in GFR30010MJC3T means the polycarbonate bowl is drained by hand: an operator opens the drain periodically to expel collected condensate. If you prefer unattended draining, the same filter regulator is available with an automatic (code A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain instead.
