The AirTAC GFR300-15 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 1/2 in Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15MLJC3TK is a size-300 filter regulator: water and particulate are removed from the compressed air and the downstream pressure is set, in one compact body. This configuration is threaded NPT 1/2 in, uses the standard 40 um filter element, and drains condensate by hand via the manual drain on its polycarbonate bowl. The regulator is the low-pressure type, a round pressure gauge with a bar scale is fitted, and a reverse/check valve is built in. No mounting bracket is included with this version. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR300 series is one of four sizes (200/300/400/600) available with a choice of ports, thread types (PT standard, with G and NPT as order options), drain types, filter grades (40 um standard, 5 um optional), gauge styles and scales, and bracket options. Flow figures for this series are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet numbers for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, low-pressure regulated air to the clamping fixtures on a CNC machining cell, with the check valve holding the set circuit while the manual drain lets the operator clear condensate at shift start.
Conditions the shop-air feed to analytical and test-bench instruments that need clean, low-pressure regulated air, with the bar-scale round gauge giving a direct local reading at the bench.
Supplies filtered, regulated air to low-pressure actuators and air knives on a packaging conveyor, where the manual-drain bowl is emptied during scheduled line changeovers.
Start with the port step: this unit is 1/2 in on the size-300 body; step up to a larger size if the line demands more capacity, and match the thread to your piping (PT is the AirTAC standard, with G and NPT orderable). Choose the drain to suit attendance: manual (as here) for periodic draining by an operator, automatic or differential-pressure where the unit cannot be visited regularly. Filter grade is 40 um standard; specify the W code for the 5 um element if downstream equipment needs finer filtration. Gauge style and scale are selectable - this unit carries a round gauge reading in bar, while an embedded square gauge is the standard alternative with MPa, psi or bar scales. Bracket options apply per code. Because flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so no single number can be quoted honestly. Tell us your line pressure and the flow your application needs, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The L code makes this a low-pressure regulator type, intended for circuits set below standard working pressures; the exact adjustment range for this variant is not published in the material we hold, so we confirm it on request. The M code gives a manual drain, meaning condensate in the polycarbonate bowl is released by hand rather than automatically.
