The AirTAC GFR300-15 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300-15 is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is the 300 size with a PT1/2 (1/2 in) PT port, a 5 um filter element (code W, against the 40 um standard), a differential-pressure drain, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. The bowl on this size is polycarbonate (PC), and no mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, drain choices (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge and scale options, and PT, G or NPT threads. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted at the drop feeding a packaging machine's clamp and pick-and-place cylinders, it strips water and chips from the shop air and holds the pressure the cylinder circuit was set for.
Feeding pop-up diverters, pushers and stoppers on a distribution conveyor, it keeps grit out of the valve spools and gives each station a stable, adjustable supply pressure.
On automated lab benches running small pneumatic actuators and grippers, the 5 um element protects sensitive components while the regulator pins the pressure the motion profile expects.
Size and port set the air capacity: the 300 size with a PT1/2 port sits mid-range in the GFR line (sizes 200/300/400/600, ports 1/8 to 1 in), so step up or down if your circuit needs more or less air. This unit carries the 5 um element - choose 40 um for general protection or 5 um where downstream equipment needs finer filtration. The drain is differential-pressure (works with the pressure drop across the element); automatic and manual drains are orderable alternatives. The round gauge reads psi; the embedded square gauge and MPa or bar scales are options. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and no mounting bracket is included in this configuration. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating - ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures on request before you order.
The W code specifies the 5 um option; 40 um is the standard element. Choose 5 um where downstream equipment needs finer filtration, or order the standard grade for general air preparation. Both share the same GFR300 body, PT1/2 port and differential-pressure drain.
