The AirTAC GFR300-15 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2 with Round Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single 300-size body. This configuration is specified for a PT1/2 (1/2 in) port with PT thread as standard, a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, the standard 40 um filter element, and an external round gauge reading in psi. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with this manual-drain version, and no mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, thread options (PT standard, G and NPT to order), drain types, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge styles and scales. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm datasheet figures on request before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning on a factory compressed-air ring main: the GFR300-15 cleans water and debris from the 1/2 in drop line and holds a steady regulated pressure to downstream equipment, with the psi gauge giving operators a local setpoint reference.
Feeding cylinders and air-operated grippers on a packaging or conveyor line, where clean, dry air and a stable regulated pressure keep cycle behaviour consistent shift after shift; the manual drain is emptied during scheduled line cleaning.
Mounted at the air inlet of an engineered machine or control panel, the filter regulator protects valves and actuators from water and particulate while the round psi gauge lets commissioning engineers verify the set pressure at the panel.
For this 300-size unit, step up or down the GFR size range (200/300/400/600) to match the port and flow requirement of your line - the 1/2 in PT port here suits mid-range supply circuits. Choose the drain to suit access: manual drain (this model) needs periodic operation, while automatic and differential-pressure drains suit less-accessible installs. Filtration is 40 um standard; specify code W for 5 um where finer protection is needed. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries a round psi gauge. Thread is PT as standard; G (BSPP) and NPT are order options. A bracket is optional (not fitted here).
Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and sizing data from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code GFR30015MJC2 specifies a manual drain: the bowl is emptied by operating the drain during routine checks, which suits accessible installations. With a manual drain, the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Automatic and differential-pressure drain versions are available in the same size if you prefer unattended draining.
