The AirTAC GFR300-15 NPT1/2 AirTAC Filter Regulator, 5 um, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
GFR300-15 is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in one body, sized 300 with a 1/2 in NPT port. This configuration carries the W 5 um filter element (the 40 um standard grade is also available in the series), an automatic drain, a round pressure gauge with bar scale, and a reverse/check valve (K). The polycarbonate bowl suits the 300 size, maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with automatic drain, and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and with choices of drain type (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), filter grade (40 um standard or 5 um W), gauge style and scale (embedded square or external round; MPa, psi or bar), thread (PT standard, with G and NPT as order options) and bracket. AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm flow and datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated air to the pneumatic cylinders that index and stop bottles on a filling line; the automatic drain clears collected condensate during continuous shifts without operator rounds.
Supplies regulated air to spray guns in a paint booth; the 5 um element reduces particulate in the air reaching the finish, and the bar-scale gauge lets the painter set and read line pressure at the booth.
Prepares air for the valve manifold on a cartoning or case-packing machine; the reverse/check valve holds downstream pressure if supply dips, and the included bracket simplifies mounting beside the machine.
Choose the size and port against the air demand of your machine: this unit is size 300 with a 1/2 in NPT port, and smaller or larger steps (200/400/600, 1/8 to 1 in) exist if your line needs less or more. Drain type is a real decision: automatic drain (fitted here) empties the bowl without attention, manual drain relies on an operator, and the differential-pressure default drains on a pressure drop. The 5 um W element suits points where finer particulate matters; the 40 um standard element protects general circuits. Gauge style and scale (embedded square or external round; MPa, psi or bar - bar here) and thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) are specified to match your panel, and the bracket is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your air demand and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your air demand and working pressure and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet for this 1/2 in, 5 um, auto-drain configuration before you order.
This unit is specified with an automatic drain (code A), which expels collected condensate from the bowl without operator attention - useful on lines that run unattended. The series is also available with manual drain or the differential-pressure default, and the 5 um W element can be ordered instead as the 40 um standard grade in the same size.
