The AirTAC GFR300-15ALJC3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15ALJC3T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This unit is built on the 300 size with a 1/2 in NPT port, an automatic drain that handles collected condensate without periodic manual draining, the standard 40 um filter element, and the low-pressure regulator type. A round gauge with a bar scale is fitted so the set pressure can be read directly, and the unit is supplied without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, a choice of automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, an optional 5 um element (code W) in place of the standard 40 um, and gauge and bracket choices. Rated flow is published as curves rather than a single figure, so we confirm the datasheet and flow figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated air to clamp cylinders on a CNC fixture line, where the low-pressure regulator type suits fixtures that call for lower working pressures at the clamp.
Prepares air for carton-sealing and sorting-gate actuators along a packaging conveyor, combining water and particulate removal with pressure setting in one body at a 1/2 in connection.
Supplies clean, regulated air to small low-pressure cylinders and grippers in laboratory automation, with the automatic drain keeping the bowl clear during unattended runs.
Choose the size and port against the air demand of the machine: this 300 size carries a 1/2 in NPT port, and larger sizes give larger ports and more flow. Drain type is a real choice: automatic (fitted here) for unattended condensate removal, manual for periodic draining, or differential-pressure as the family default. The filter grade is 40 um as standard; specify code W for the 5 um element where finer filtration is needed. Gauge and scale are selectable (MPa, psi or bar); this unit carries a round gauge with a bar scale. Thread can be ordered as PT, G or NPT - this one is NPT. A mounting bracket is optional and is omitted on this unit (code J). Because rated flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so no rated flow number applies to this unit. Send us your air demand and line conditions and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet for this 300 size, 1/2 in NPT filter regulator on request.
The automatic drain (code A) expels collected condensate by itself, so the bowl does not depend on periodic manual draining or on a pressure differential to clear. Manual and differential-pressure drains are available on other variants in the GFR family if your maintenance routine prefers those.
