The AirTAC GFR300-15ALJF3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300-15ALJF3TK is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This configuration is built around a 1/2 in NPT port, an automatic drain that discharges collected condensate from the PC (polycarbonate) bowl without manual attention, and the standard 40 um filter element. The regulator is the low-pressure type, the embedded square gauge is scaled in bar, and a reverse/check valve is fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). No mounting bracket is included in this code.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options that include automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), alternative gauge scales, G or NPT threads and a mounting bracket. AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the figures against your application; the datasheet is available on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Regulating filtered air to a low-pressure pneumatic clamping fixture on an assembly bench, where the workpiece needs gentle, steady holding pressure rather than full line pressure.
Conditioning air ahead of cylinders and air grippers on a packaging conveyor, removing water and pipe scale while holding the supply pressure the machine's valves were set up for.
Feeding filtered, regulated air to the tool changer and chip-clearing jets on a CNC machining cell, with the automatic drain handling condensate from the compressed-air drop.
Size and port step up with flow demand: this unit is size 300 with a 1/2 in NPT port, while smaller 200 and larger 400/600 sizes exist if your duty differs. Drains come as automatic (fitted here), manual or differential-pressure. The filter element is 40 um as standard; specify code W for the 5 um grade where finer filtration is needed. The embedded square gauge is scaled in bar on this model, with MPa and psi scales available and an external round gauge as an option. Thread is NPT here; PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is also an order option. A mounting bracket can be specified, but this configuration omits it. Because AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request.
The A in the code fits the automatic drain, which discharges collected condensate from the PC bowl without anyone opening it - useful on lines that run unattended. Manual and differential-pressure drains are available as alternative configurations.
