The AirTAC GFR300-15ALJNT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15ALJNT is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is fitted with a 1/2 in NPT port, a 40 um standard filtration element, and an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention. It is the low-pressure type, and it is supplied without a gauge and without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port sizes, PT, G or NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, a 40 um standard or 5 um (W) element, gauge options and bracket options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, pressure-controlled air to a bench-mounted pneumatic press or clamping fixture, where the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the valve stack without daily bowl checks.
Conditioning the air supply to conveyor diverters, case sealers and bagging machinery, combining water and particle removal with low-pressure regulation on a 1/2 in drop line.
Installing at a plant air drop leg to serve a work cell of air tools and cylinders, filtering the general shop air and regulating it down to the pressure the cell was set up for.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) to match the port and flow path your line needs; this unit sits at 300 size with a 1/2 in NPT port. Choose the drain to suit access: automatic (as here) for unattended condensate removal, manual for periodic attention, or differential-pressure as the default. Filtration is 40 um standard; specify the W code if the 5 um element is required. Gauge (square embedded or external round, with MPa, psi or bar scale), bracket, and PT vs G/NPT thread are all order-time choices. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM figure. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for this exact configuration on request.
The A in the code GFR300-15ALJNT means the bowl drains collected condensate automatically, which suits installations that are not checked daily. If you prefer manual draining or the differential-pressure default, that is an order-time choice on the same 300-size body.
