The AirTAC GFR300-15LJ AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2, 5 um, LP is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300-15LJ is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in a single body. This configuration is the low-pressure (L) type with 1/2 in NPT ports, a 5 um (W) filter element that removes water and fine particulate, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically as flow passes through, and a reverse/check valve (K) that holds downstream pressure when the upstream supply is lost. The polycarbonate bowl lets you see the condensate level, and the fitted round gauge reads in psi. No mounting bracket is included (code J), so plan your own panel or bracket fixing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of 40 um standard or 5 um fine filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, gauge style and scale options, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a carton-sealing or case-packing line where clamps and hold-downs run at reduced pressure, this filter regulator cleans the air to 5 um, regulates it to the low setting the clamps need, and the check valve holds the clamp pressure if the main supply drops.
Bench-top analysers, sample-handling actuators and purge lines in a lab skid need clean, finely filtered air held at a low, stable setting. The 5 um element and low-pressure regulation suit these feeds, with the psi gauge giving a direct local reading.
Looms, winding heads and web-converting lines use threads, jets and light-duty actuators that run at low pressures and clog quickly with dirty air. This unit filters to 5 um, regulates in the low range, and the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate moving out during production.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) so the port and body match the flow your line needs - this 300 size carries 1/2 in ports. Drain choice matters: differential-pressure (this unit) needs no attention but only drains while air flows; choose automatic (A) for continuous condensate discharge, or manual (M) where you want to drain by hand. This unit carries the 5 um (W) element instead of the 40 um standard - pick 5 um where downstream equipment is sensitive to fine particles. The round gauge here reads in psi; square embedded gauges and MPa/bar scales are alternatives. Thread is NPT on this unit (PT is the standard thread; G and NPT are order options), and the J code means no bracket is supplied.
Because AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, we do not quote a flow number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number here. Send us your line pressure, downstream setting and expected air demand, and we will confirm the datasheet curve and correct sizing for your application on request before you order.
The L in the code marks the low-pressure regulator type: it is built for circuits that hold a reduced downstream setting rather than working near the top of the standard range. The exact adjustment range for the low-pressure type is not published in our sheet, so we confirm it on request. Everything else decodes normally: 1/2 in NPT ports, 5 um filtration, differential-pressure drain, psi round gauge, check valve fitted, no bracket, max inlet 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and -5 to 70 C operation.
