The AirTAC GFR300-15M AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT 1/2 in, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300-15M is an AirTAC filter regulator that removes water and particulate down to 5 um and regulates downstream pressure in one body. It is sized for 1/2 in NPT ports, carries a manual drain on its polycarbonate bowl, and is fitted with an embedded square gauge scaled in psi plus a reverse (check) valve. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR300 series sits within the G-family size range (200, 300, 400 and 600), with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, PT thread as standard and G or NPT as order options, plus a choice of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air to a bench pneumatic press or clamping fixture, where the 5 um element keeps debris out of the valve stack and the regulator holds the working pressure the tooling was set up for.
Supplying cylinders on a carton-forming or case-sealing conveyor line, with the check valve holding the set pressure against momentary upstream dips and the manual drain cleared at shift service.
Conditioning shop compressed air feeding a laboratory or test-bench manifold, where fine 5 um filtration and a locally readable psi gauge protect instruments and make setpoints easy to verify.
Within the GFR range you choose the size (200/300/400/600) and port (1/8 to 1 in) against the flow your line needs; this unit is size 300 with a 1/2 in NPT port. Drain options are differential-pressure (default), automatic or manual - this configuration is manual, so the bowl is emptied by hand during service. Filtration here is 5 um (40 um is the standard grade; W selects 5 um). The embedded square gauge is scaled in psi; MPa and bar scales are also available, and an external round gauge is optional. PT is the standard thread with G and NPT as order options, and a mounting bracket can be added (this unit is ordered without one, code J). Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm the figures from the datasheet for this exact model before you order.
This unit is ordered with code M, a manual drain: the bowl is emptied by hand during service. If you prefer automatic discharge or the default differential-pressure drain, the same GFR300 body is available with code A (automatic) or no drain code (differential-pressure) - just ask for that variant.
