The AirTAC GFR300-15MF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15MF3T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This 300-size unit is fitted with a 1/2 in NPT port, a 40 um filter element, a manual drain for the PC (polycarbonate) bowl, and an embedded square gauge scaled in bar. With manual drainage the regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, thread options (PT standard; G and NPT to order), drain types (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), filter grades (40 um standard, 5 um optional) and gauge scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning where a CNC machining cell taps off the main header: water and swarf-carrying particulate are stripped out and the line pressure is set to the cell's working level, with the bar-scaled square gauge giving the operator a direct reading.
Feeding cylinders and air actuators on a packaging or palletising conveyor: the filter stage keeps moisture and debris out of the valve stack, while the regulator holds a stable set pressure so clamp and pusher strokes stay consistent through the shift.
A wall-mounted service station in a maintenance bay where technicians run impact tools, blow guns and test rigs: the 1/2 in NPT connection carries the shop supply, the manual drain is emptied during end-of-day checks, and the bracket fixes the unit to the panel.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit - the 300 size with a 1/2 in NPT port suits lines that have outgrown 1/4 in or 3/8 in points. This configuration uses a manual drain, which suits positions that are checked as part of a routine; if the unit sits where nobody walks past, ask about the automatic or differential-pressure drain versions instead. The 40 um element is the standard grade for general plant air; the 5 um (W) option is there when finer particulate removal is wanted. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar - bar here), thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) and the included mounting bracket complete the choices. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number for this unit. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The M in the code GFR30015MF3T specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the PC bowl is released by hand, which suits stations that are checked routinely. The GFR series is also available with an automatic drain (code A) or the differential-pressure drain (blank) for positions that are not visited regularly - with the manual-drain version the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
