The AirTAC GFR300-15MLF2K AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15MLF2K is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is a low-pressure type, fitted with a manual drain bowl, a 40 um standard filter element, an embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and a reverse (check) valve; a mounting bracket is included. The port is PT1/2 (1/2 in) with PT thread as the standard.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of drain type, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, gauge style and scale, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm flow and datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Supplies filtered, low-pressure regulated air to clamp and fixture cylinders on a machining or assembly cell, with the check valve holding the set pressure if the main supply drops.
Feeds air cylinders that divert, stop and eject packs on a conveyor line, combining water and particle removal with low-pressure regulation at a single 1/2 in drop.
Provides filtered, gently regulated air to spray, blow-off or rinsing stations on a production line where the process calls for a lower regulated supply than a standard regulator setup.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is 300 size with a 1/2 in PT port. The manual drain (code M) means the bowl is emptied by hand, which suits positions that are checked routinely; automatic or differential-pressure drains are available on other variants if the bowl cannot be attended. Filtration here is the 40 um standard element; specify the W code if the application needs 5 um. The embedded square gauge is scaled in psi (MPa and bar scales are alternatives), and the reverse/check valve holds downstream pressure if supply is lost. PT is the standard thread; G (BSPP) and NPT are order options, and a bracket is included with this configuration.
This is the low-pressure type, so its regulation range differs from the standard GFR and is not published as a single figure. Flow is likewise published as curves, not a single rating: ask us to confirm sizing and the regulation range against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet, along with the low-pressure regulation range, before you order.
The M code in GFR300-15MLF2K specifies a manual drain: collected water is released by hand from the bowl, which suits positions checked as part of a routine. If the installation cannot be attended regularly, other GFR variants offer automatic or differential-pressure drains.
