The AirTAC GFR300-15T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT 1/2 in, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15T is a size-300 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation in a single body. This configuration is built with a 1/2 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element for finer particle removal than the standard 40 um grade, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, and an embedded square gauge scaled in psi so the set pressure is visible at a glance. The setting range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl suits the 300 size, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um filtration, standard or low-pressure regulation, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, an optional reverse/check valve, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding spray-booth and paint-pump air drops on a finishing line, where the 5 um element helps keep fine particles out of the air supply and the regulator holds a steady gun pressure on a 1/2 in header.
Conditioning the air feeding carton sealers, case packers and wrapping machines, with the automatic drain clearing condensate through shift changes and the square psi gauge letting maintenance verify the set point.
Mounted on the bracket inside a control panel or machine manifold cabinet, giving one compact filtered-and-regulated take-off point for valve islands and actuators on a 1/2 in NPT branch.
Size and port: the 300 frame takes a 1/2 in port here, one step up from the 1/4 in of the GFR200 group; step up to GFR400 or GFR600 when the line grows. Drain: automatic (this code) empties the bowl on its own, manual needs an operator, and the differential-pressure default dumps only when the pressure drop warrants it. Filtration: the 5 um element in this code is the finer optional grade; the standard is 40 um. Gauge: the embedded square gauge here reads in psi; round external gauges and MPa or bar scales are order options. Thread: PT is the standard; G and NPT, as on this unit, are specified at order. A bracket is included unless J is coded.
Before ordering, note that flow for the GFR series is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so we cannot quote one number here. Send us your line pressure, required downstream setting and expected air demand, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your inlet pressure, required downstream setting and air demand, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request.
The A in the code GFR30015AF2WT specifies an automatic drain, which discharges collected condensate from the bowl without anyone opening it - useful on unattended or multi-shift lines. The GFR family also offers a manual drain (code M) and a differential-pressure drain (blank), which is the default, so you can match the drain to how the machine is serviced.
