The AirTAC GFR300-15T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT 1/2 in, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15T is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This 300-size unit is ordered with a 1/2 in NPT port, the low-pressure (L) regulator type for circuits that run at reduced set pressures, the standard 40 um filter element, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is high enough. A round external gauge with a psi scale is fitted so the set pressure can be read directly, and the mounting bracket is included for panel or frame fixing. The polycarbonate bowl suits the -5 to 70 C (non-freezing) operating range, with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT, G and NPT threads, automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (W) element option, and gauge choices. Flow is published by AirTAC as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Positioned ahead of the clamping cylinders on a CNC fixture circuit, the unit strips water and chips-laden particulate from the shop air and holds a reduced, stable clamp pressure read on the psi gauge, protecting the fixture seals and the workpiece surface.
On a plant where quarter-turn and control valves take their actuator pilot air from the main header, this filter regulator cleans the supply and steps it down to the low pilot pressure the positioner expects, with the differential-pressure drain keeping condensate out of the pilot line.
Feeding the gripper and pusher cylinders in one zone of a carton packaging line, the unit conditions the header air and regulates it to the gentle pressure those actuators need, while the included bracket lets it mount directly on the machine frame beside the zone manifold.
Choose the size by the port and flow step: 200 covers 1/8-1/4 in ports, 300 covers 3/8-1/2 in (this unit: 1/2 in NPT), 400 covers 1/2-3/4 in, and 600 covers 1 in. Pick the drain to match maintenance access: differential-pressure (this unit, self-bleeding), automatic for continuous unattended drainage, or manual where you want controlled venting. The 40 um element is standard; specify code W for the 5 um grade if downstream equipment needs finer filtration. This L-code unit is the low-pressure regulator type; the standard type is the alternative for normal set pressures. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, in MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit has the round psi gauge. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; this unit is NPT. A bracket is included (code J omits it).
One honest note on sizing: AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves, not a single rated number, so send us your required flow and line conditions and we will confirm the correct size from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM number. Tell us your required flow and upstream pressure and we will confirm the correct size and the curve figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
L is the low-pressure regulator type, intended for circuits where the set pressure stays in the reduced range rather than near full line pressure. The drain code is blank here, which is the differential-pressure drain: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is bled off automatically when the pressure differential across the 40 um element is sufficient, with manual and automatic drains available as order options.
