The AirTAC GFR300-15T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is the size 300 unit with a 1/2 in NPT port, a 5 um filtering element (code W, one step finer than the 40 um standard), an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, and a reverse/check valve fitted to hold the downstream setting if the supply drops. No gauge is fitted (code N); the output pressure is set on the adjusting knob and can be read with a gauge added at the line. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The bowl on this size is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, gauge options, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to the tool-change clamps and pneumatic actuators on a machining centre, where the 5 um element protects close-tolerance components and the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the circuit.
Conditioning the air feeding conveyor stopper and diverting cylinders on a packaging line, with the regulator holding a steady setting so cylinder stroke timing stays repeatable through the shift.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to spray and atomizing stations in a finishing plant, where water and fine particulate in the supply would otherwise spoil the finish and the check valve guards the set pressure.
Choose the size and port against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is size 300 with a 1/2 in NPT port, and the family steps through 200/300/400/600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in. Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rated number, ask us to confirm the sizing against your application before ordering. The 5 um element here suits lines that need finer particulate control than the 40 um standard; the automatic drain suits points that are not visited daily, while manual and differential-pressure drains remain available in the family. Thread is NPT on this unit; PT is the catalogue standard and G is also orderable. A bracket is included for mounting, and gauge or no-gauge variants exist across the family.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your application and line pressure and we will confirm the datasheet and the correct size on request.
This model carries the N code, so no gauge is fitted. The output pressure is set with the adjusting knob against the regulation range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) for the automatic-drain version. If you want a local pressure reading, the family also comes in gauge variants with an embedded square gauge or an optional external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales.
