The AirTAC GFR300-15T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15T is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is threaded NPT1/2 (1/2 in), carries the standard 40 um filter element, and has an automatic drain that bleeds collected condensate from the PC (polycarbonate) bowl without manual attention. The fitted round gauge reads in bar, the regulator is the standard type with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range, and no mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G, NPT or PT threads, and optional brackets. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding tool-clamp and pallet-actuation circuits on a machining centre: the 40 um element strips water and swarf-laden particulate from the shop air while the regulator holds a steady setting to the clamps, and the automatic drain keeps the bowl clear through multi-shift running.
Point-of-use conditioning at a paint booth: clean, pressure-stabilised air to spray applicators, with the automatic drain handling condensate in humid conditions and the bar-scale round gauge letting operators verify the set point at a glance.
Supplying pick-and-place and case-erector cylinders on a packaging conveyor line: the filter-regulator combination protects directional valves from water and dirt and holds consistent pressure for repeatable cylinder strokes across the 1/2 in main drop.
Step up or down through the GFR size range (200/300/400/600) against the flow your line needs, then match the port: 15 decodes to 1/2 in here, and the trailing T orders the NPT thread instead of the PT standard (G/BSPP is also available). Choose the drain to suit maintenance: automatic (as fitted here) for unattended condensate removal, manual where you prefer a scheduled blow-down, or the differential-pressure default. The 40 um element is standard; specify W for 5 um where finer particulate matters. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and bracket inclusion are also decodable choices.
Because flow is published only as curves and not as a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your line pressure and the flow your application needs, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
The A in the code GFR30015AJC3T specifies an automatic drain, which expels collected condensate from the PC bowl without operator attention. Manual-drain and the differential-pressure (default) drain versions are available in the same series if your maintenance routine prefers them.
