The AirTAC GFR300-15T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15T is a filter regulator: a 40 um filter and a pressure regulator built into one body, so a single unit strips water and particulate from the air and then holds your downstream pressure. This size 300 configuration has a 1/2 in NPT port, an automatic drain that clears collected condensate without someone having to bleed the bowl by hand, a low-pressure type regulator for circuits that run at reduced setpoints, a round psi gauge fitted, and a mounting bracket included. The polycarbonate bowl lets you see the condensate level at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G (BSPP) or NPT as order options, with manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um standard or 5 um (code W) filtration, and embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so send us your application details and we will confirm the sizing and datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a CNC fixture line, clamping cylinders need clean air held at a reduced, stable setpoint. The GFR300-15T filters the supply to 40 um, regulates it down with its low-pressure type regulator, and the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the circuit through long production runs.
Packaging lines run many small cylinders for forming, sealing and ejecting. This unit gives the machine one point of air preparation: water and particulate removed, pressure regulated to the setpoint read on the psi gauge, and the bowl drained automatically between shifts.
Spray guns and coating heads work best at reduced atomizing pressures. The low-pressure type regulator in this unit is intended for exactly those lower setpoints, while the 40 um element keeps oil-mist-free, particle-free air reaching the gun and the finish.
Choose the size by port and demand: this 300 body carries a 1/2 in NPT port, and the series steps from size 200 up to 600 as your flow requirement grows. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, ask us to confirm the right size against your application before ordering. Drain: this unit is automatic (code A), which empties the bowl without hands-on attention; manual and differential-pressure drains are the alternatives in the series. Filtration: 40 um is standard here; specify 5 um (code W) where finer protection is needed. Gauge: this configuration carries a round psi gauge; embedded square gauges and MPa or bar scales are the other options. Thread: PT is the series standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is NPT. A mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we will not quote you a number that is not in the datasheet. Send us your application - working pressure, downstream demand and line length - and we will confirm the flow and the full datasheet figures on request.
The L in the code makes this the low-pressure type regulator, intended for circuits set below the standard range; the exact adjustment range is not published in the material we hold, so ask us to confirm it. The A makes the drain automatic: collected condensate is expelled from the bowl without manual bleeding. Filter grade is the 40 um standard, and the fitted gauge reads in psi.
