The AirTAC GFR300-15T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady, in a single 300-size body. This configuration has 1/2 in NPT ports, a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, a 40 um standard filter element, a standard regulator with a 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range, and an embedded square gauge scaled in MPa. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR range spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, PT as standard and G or NPT to order, with manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element option, gauge and scale choices, and an optional reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated supply air for a punch or forming press: the 40 um element keeps water and swarf out of the valve stack while the regulator holds a steady working pressure at the cylinder.
Air prep for conveyor diverters and packaging cylinders on a half-inch line, with the manual drain bled at shift start and the MPa gauge giving a quick setpoint check.
Stable, filtered air to spray guns and air-assisted applicators, where the regulator is set once and the 40 um element helps keep water out of the finish.
Size 300 with 1/2 in NPT ports suits lines that need moderate flow at half-inch supply; step up to size 400 or 600, or down to 200, as demand changes - we can confirm sizing against the published flow curves before you order. The manual drain needs bleeding by hand at intervals; choose automatic or differential-pressure drain if the unit will be left unattended. The 40 um element is standard; order the W code for 5 um filtration. The embedded square gauge reads in MPa, with psi or bar scales and an external round gauge available. Thread is NPT here; PT is standard and G is also an option. Temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR300 flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, downstream demand and allowable pressure drop, and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet before you order.
The M code means collected water must be drained by hand - open the drain at regular intervals or at shift start. If the unit sits in an inaccessible spot, the same size is available with automatic or differential-pressure drain instead.
