The AirTAC GFR30008JF1T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 MPa Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR30008JF1T is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in one body. It removes water and particulate from compressed air down to 40 um and holds your downstream pressure within a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range. This configuration has a 1/4 in NPT port, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds condensate automatically as flow passes through, a polycarbonate bowl, an embedded square gauge scaled in MPa, and no mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, drain types, a 5 um filter element (code W), gauge scale options and G/NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted ahead of a directional-valve manifold on an assembly machine, it cleans the supply air to 40 um and holds a steady regulated pressure so valve stations shift consistently through the shift.
On a carton-sealing or wrapping line, it feeds cylinders and grippers with filtered, regulated air, while the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate moving out during continuous running.
At an individual machine drop feeding pneumatic clamps or chucks, it lets the operator set and read local pressure on the MPa gauge independently of the main header regulation.
Start with the port step: this unit is size 300 with a 1/4 in NPT port; larger sizes (400, 600) carry larger ports and more flow capacity, so match the size to your line rather than upsizing blindly. Choose the drain type to suit access: differential-pressure (this unit) suits continuous operation, automatic drain suits unattended duty, manual drain suits periodically attended installations. The standard element is 40 um; specify the W code for 5 um where finer particulate removal matters. The embedded square gauge is fitted here in MPa scale; psi or bar scales and an external round gauge are options. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is the NPT version. A bracket is optional (not fitted here).
Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and expected air demand, and we will confirm the flow and full datasheet figures for this unit on request before you order.
The differential-pressure drain (the default on this model) discharges collected condensate automatically as air flows through the unit, so it suits continuously running lines without attention. If the unit sits on a supply that runs intermittently or unattended for long periods, an automatic drain (code A) or a manual drain (code M) may suit better - both are orderable options in the same size.
