The AirTAC GFR30008MF2WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR30008MF2WT is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in a single body, with a 1/4 in NPT port. This configuration carries a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, a 5 um filter element for finer particulate and water removal than the standard 40 um grade, an embedded square gauge reading in psi, and the standard regulator covering 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, filter grade, gauge scale and thread form (PT standard, with G and NPT as order options). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Cleaner, regulated air at the machine's pneumatic drop: the 5 um element strips finer water and particulate before it reaches tool-clamp and chip-clearing circuits, while the regulator holds a steady set pressure for repeatable clamping.
Point-of-use conditioning for conveyor diverters, baggers and seal jaws: filtered, pressure-stabilised air keeps actuator strokes consistent through a shift, and the psi gauge lets line staff verify the set point at a glance.
Finer filtration ahead of spray equipment: the 5 um grade reduces water and particle carry-over that can mar finishes, and the manual drain lets the operator bleed accumulated condensate at the start of each session.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) against the port size and the flow your line needs - the 300 size with a 1/4 in NPT port suits compact supply points. Choose the drain to match the installation: manual drain (this model) needs an operator to bleed the bowl, while automatic and differential-pressure drains discharge on their own. The 5 um element here is the finer option over the standard 40 um grade; pick it where downstream valves and cylinders see finer contamination. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and thread form (PT standard, G or NPT to order) are decodable choices too.
Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure that could mislead your sizing. Send us your line pressure, downstream demand and port requirements and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for this exact model on request.
The M in the code sets a manual drain bowl: condensate is released by an operator rather than automatically. Manual drain suits points that are checked as part of a routine - for example a booth or cell bled at shift start. If the unit sits where nobody regularly attends, choose the automatic or differential-pressure drain variant instead. Note that with a manual drain the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
